Review | Bare Minerals Precious Gems

The last review of 2015 is here and oh boy it’s a good one. Santa, family and friends have been very good to me this Christmas and I received this as a present from a friend.

The three precious gems are called Pink Passion, Plumberry Pop and Nude Passion. The three are lip balms made of oil. Usually I’m not a fan of balms because although hydrating the colour is usually crap but I was pleasantly surprised at how pigmented the colour was.

These are what the balms are like applied to skin. The Nude Passion is a great lip colour for an everyday look and the Plumberry Pop is my favourite colour because you can apply it lightly or heavily for a day or nighttime look.

Have you tried these oil lip balms? Let me know if you like them in the comments.
Until next week,
happy reading & tea drinking,

January Favourites.

I know I’m late on the bandwagon but here are a few of my January favourites!

  1. Essence Studio Nails Hardening Nail Base

I picked this nail hardener up on a whim because my nails were feeling weak after fake nails! I put it on before putting nail varnish on and after a few weeks I felt them getting stronger and not breaking as much. It’s also great an protecting your nail from being stained from the nail varnish itself! Cheap and cheerful I got this in Penney’s for about 3 euro!

2. Forever Aloe Lips
This is great for people like myself who suffer with chapped lips. I don’t leave the house without it and I put it on before lipstick! Made with aloe vera it’s nice to know that you’re putting something natural on your lips! Handy for carrying arounds it’s 4 euro!

3.Soap & Glory’s Hand Food
I’m lucky I got this as a present from a friend for Christmas! It’s actually great not only does it smell amazing but I like it because it protects my hands from the harsh weather!

4.Cobalt Clutch from Penney’s
I spotted this the other day while browsing with a friend (I say browsing because I wasn’t meant to be shopping) . I thought it was a great staple piece because cobalt is a big colour for spring. I think it’ll be a great bag for going out because it’s the right size for essentials. I couldn’t just leave it in the shop it was only 7 euro. Bargain!
Thanks for Reading! Until next time xo
